The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be an affordable price for a cot featuring these advanced features. She also liked the way it was positioned in the bedroom, and believed that its grey colour is a good fit for modern homes. However, she did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a younger baby as it could set an unhealthy habit that can affect later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to provide an uninterrupted night's sleep. It has a drop side rail that is easily removed for feedings at night without having to disturb your baby or get them out of bed - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or for travel.
It's made from soft materials and features mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It's available in charcoal and oak, with a range of melange fabric options that are compatible with all decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured to ensure safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number available if you have any issues.
Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a bedside crib such as the ability to be connected to your bed using a stay-in-place connection system and six height levels The CoZee also comes with an additional incline option that can be used to ease reflux or congestion in babies. It can also be washed in the machine and is a must for all the spills, vomit, and snot that can be found in a newborn baby!
The CoZee is a fantastic option for keeping your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it can be transformed into a crib. Although it can't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco’s more expensive options. It does have numerous excellent features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to fit under any bed.
Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel that can be flipped up and down by pressing one button. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them up.
The side panel can be removed by itself, too however it isn't recommended since it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This feature is great for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's quite portable and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also able to fold into a bag for travel which is ideal if you want to transport it. The only drawback our test subjects found was that the side panel did not flex as much as the other models, which made it a little harder to observe your child from your own bed.

Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed but also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready.
